Right Down the Line
RIP Gerry Rafferty - I grew up listening to your songs on vinyl. Although everyone knows Baker Street, I remember this one always coming on directly afterwards. One of the most romantic love songs ever written.
(When I was about 4, I used to think my dad made this record. He had quite a likeness, and similar sunglasses, and he’d written his name on the guitar part of the picture. What a disappointment I got! :P )

a pocket-sized orchestral wonder
I think this is the best way to describe Georgia Fields’ self-titled. Giving it a go now, I’ve had ‘Sinking Relation Ship’ and ‘One Finger’ for a while, now I’m downloading the whole album. Some very unique sounds (Sinking Relation Ship specifically!).
